@Waiting2BAMummy thank you 😊

Thanks @Waiting2BAMummy

How is everyone doing? AF is due on Sunday. I felt convinced I was pregnant on Wednesday as had some symptoms but they’ve now gone so I’m back to thinking I’m not. Also the last few months I’ve had quite a few days of spotting before AF and because I haven’t had that it’s giving me hope - but I know it’s probably just because my body has reverted to going back to having no spotting or just one day of spotting.

I think we all convince ourselves every month that we are pregnant! Last month I actually was and I knew it before i tested. It was the boobs 😂. My peak was delayed this month due to the chemical pregnancy but eventually got it and inseminated in good time. Currently 3dpo. Fingers crossed AF does not show on Sunday @Overlyanxious.

I'm only 4dpo and I also feel quietly confident with absolutely no evidence Grin Hope we all get BFPs this month. I'm so ready.

@KLO0224 I got pregnant in July and I knew then as it was the boobs - but unfortunately it ended with an early miscarriage.

I’m glad you managed to inseminate with the delayed peak. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you

Hi ladies I’m due sometime next week, not sure when as I didn’t track but definitely think I’m out.

Fingers crossed for you all this month. We all deserve our rainbow babies 🌈

Keeping my fingers crossed for @Waiting2BAMummy and @bitheby as well.

It’s so weird how one moment I’m convinced I am and the next moment I’m upset because I’m convinced I’m not

I really recognise that @Overlyanxious. And just a few days makes the difference between feeling cramps making me feel hopeful and feeling cramps leaving me sobbing. Just shows how powerful our minds are.

I’ve got spotting today so AF should turn up tomorrow. I’m not feeling too bad - just a bit fed up of it all now.

Bless you @Overlyanxious sorry to hear that. I’m sure I’ll be following suit at some point in the next 7 days.

I’m sorry to hear that @Overlyanxious. How long have you been ttc? Do you have any children already? I’m being nosy I’m sorry 😂

Overlyanxious · 06/03/2021 22:09

Thanks both. I’m TTC my first and it’s been 9 months - so not too long really, but I’m feeling the pressure especially as I’m nearly 38

Report
Overlyanxious · 07/03/2021 21:40

Although I’m just putting that pressure on myself

Waiting2BAMummy · 07/03/2021 22:27

We all do that @Overlyanxious I’d say try to take the pressure off but that would make me a hypocrite and I know it’s not that simple. Try to keep the faith x

Lovely to hear from you @Busybee143 hope all is well with you and baby yoda x

@Busybee143 how many weeks are you now? Any words of wisdom?

Thanks @Waiting2BAMummy I think my struggle is I spend a lot of time with other people’s children as me and my wife are close with our families and have sisters and cousins with children we see a fair amount (although virtually at the moment) and I’m finding it increasingly difficult to be the one without any. I was also doing well at not having anyone close to me get pregnant - but they are all coming out of the woodwork now.

How's everyone doing?

I just came off my private fertility appointment call. It was £100. And lasted 10 minutes. £10 per minute.

Basically at my age they don't recommend IVF as the odds are small. So medicated IUI. I just hope that I'm pregnant already. Private is so so expensive.

Meanwhile NHS have me booked in for a scan in a fortnight as part of a general fertility check up. I have to travel nearly 2 hours to get there.

Any news from anyone? I think I'm 8dpo and so too early for testing. I have slightly veiny boobs and am a bit crampy but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

No news from me @bitheby currently 6dpo and not feeling any different although it’s far to early! I keep fondling my boobs and I’ve convinced myself they may be a little tender (although this could be due to the excessive fondling 😂) I had my appraisal at work and my boss asked me what I want to achieve this year, I blurted out that I didn’t want to be working at Christmas as I hoped to be either on maternity leave or have a brand new baby😂 - she looked confused but wished me all the best anyway!

Ah. Yes, I'm a fondler too. I flash myself in the mirror every time I go to the bathroom too Grin

You're brave. Sounds like you have a good relationship with your boss. My boss knew I had a miscarriage last Easter because she invited me to a BBQ at her house even though we'd just gone into lockdown! I wouldn't have told her otherwise. Not sure what she would think about it.

My boss is awesome, we are a close knit team and she’s very supportive. I’ve worked at the same place for 13 years In various roles but she’s always overseen me through my progression.
I’ve got a stitch like almost dull ache in my right hip and quite heavy creamy CM which seems to be unusual for me but could be due to anything to do with natural hormone shifts during cycle.

Fingers crossed for you ladies @KLO0224 and @bitheby.

I have visions of you both groping yourselves every time you visit the bathroom lol

I’m due AF anytime between now and the weekend.

Oh @Waiting2BAMummy it doesn’t happen exclusively in the bathroom, I find myself copping a feel in most areas of the house/garden/supermarket 😂 I will have to resist as I’m sure it’s contributing to the tenderness 😆. Do you feel AF will show? Have you noticed anything different?
I’ve been doing well with remembering the aspirin, I think I only forgot one day since I got them! I’m still temping too but I don’t know what I’m looking at and it seems to be all over the bloody place still!

Haha. I'm so glad it's not just me. I've even been known to have a quick look while the camera's off in a work Teams meeting.

Makes a change to be scrutinising potential breast changes rather than internet cheapie tests.

I had my day 21 bloods taken today; ideally should've been yesterday but they were booked up. She said I would bruise and I have. If I do go ahead with medicated IUI it would apparently be 14 days of self injections. Bloody hell. All the more reason to hope this has worked. Although I have always fancied twins...

You too are hilarious 😂**@KLO0224* @bitheby* I do check mine but not as often as you guys, I feel like I’m not really putting the effort in- need to up my game!!
Well done on remembering the aspirin, missing one day won’t hurt @KLO0224.
Will you go straight to the medicated IUI if you’re not successful this month @bitheby?
I’m fully expecting AF to arrive so fingers crossed my donor is available this month as he said he might not be.

@Waiting2BAMummy @bitheby @KLO0224 keeping my fingers crossed for all of you. I also do a bit of boob groping and get convinced by the smallest feeling that they are hurting.

The medicated IUI also sounds like a good option @bitheby.
