Exploring DE through a Pandemic - help needed!

DH (45) and I (nearly 42) live in Northern Ireland - 5 pregnancies all ending in miscarriage between 5 and 10 weeks over last 3 years. DH got SA done - normal. Both Karyotyping came back normal. Last pregnancy came back as Trisomy 22. My AMH is on the high side of normal for my age but we're coming to terms with the fact that my egg quality is not great. We had got to the stage of booking ED treatment with IVF Alicante when Covid happened and blew that option out of the water. Then went to SIMS Dublin and they said that due to the pandemic they could not source overseas eggs now. Obviously Ireland would be easier due to travel restrictions but has anyone any recommendations UK wide that are still offering ED programmes?TIA!!

Sorry for such loss.

If the Dublin clinic can't get overseas eggs does that mean they don't use donors in country? Is that also the case in NI? Friends had treatment there and I understand clinic choice is very limited.

Some UK clinics have frozen eggs banks, perhaps contact some of the London clinics and see what is needed for treatment and whether your DH could travel to provide a sample to fertilise eggs with a view to you having a fresh or frozen transfer if you get any embryos.

Or sit tight a bit longer and go to Alicante when possible.
I know the waiting is very difficult though.

@PinkGold hey thank you for the reply. No unfortunately Dublin got its eggs from the Ukraine and because if the whole Brexit thing and the Ukraine not being in the EU it has caused a breakdown in partnership I believe. The clinic we had been looking into in Belfast uses Alicante as their overseas contact so I'm back to square one. We still have the chance if using OE and PGS in Dublin but the chances of success Vs the financial implications means we have chosen to forgo that option and go straight for DE. I am willing to travel anywhere that the Covid restrictions allow! I also think a multi cycle approach would probably be best as I've heard so many people having failed cycles even with DE. May I ask, have you gone down the DE route?

I know you've had karyotyping and your recent loss tested, just wondering if you've had any recurrent miscarriage tests following other losses?
I mean to rule out a mechanical issue rather than with your embryos (if such a thing can be ruled out, I have no idea, and logically it could well be embryo quality).

Yes I will be having donor egg treatment hopefully in a few months if things calm down a bit.

Speak to a few clinics and see what they propose and what tests they would require, and if you are travelling to another part of the UK or further afield consider travel, accommodation, covid tests on top of the budget for medication etc.
Feel free to PM if you want any specific information.
