Hi ladies I’ve had 8 miscarriages in the last year and now my tests have faded so think in few days bleeding will start with my 9th I’m so down about this I’ve tried to be hopeful and told to keep trying I’ve had all the tests done including karotyping and all came back clear including my internal ultrasound scan .. I’ve tried progesterone and asprin nothing worked so far I’m so down about it seeing pregnant ladies older than me and with higher bmi seen more pregnant ladies today and it’s starting to make me feel really bitter and that’s not me 😓 my question is has anyone else had this many in a row and been successful I’m ready for giving up it’s heartbreaking getting positives to see them fade I’ve had 2 children before with no problems I’m at my wits end emotionally .. any advice much appreciated x

I was reading an article yesterday about super fertility @tinkerbell999. Before you think that sounds like a good thing how the fuff does that help me? It’s actually not a good thing. It means that the women is really fertile but the endometrium cannot determine between a good quality or substandard egg and therefore they implant, regardless of quality, but end in miscarriage.

Might be worth a chat with your doctor?

I know what you mean though about being bitter than everyone else seems to be able to get pregnant. I’ve been trying for 2 years with only one chemical pregnancy in that whole time.

If I can find the article I’ll post the link but I hope you get some answers and, of course, your rainbow baby.

I’m sorry it’s so awful for you. Have you got a top doctor on the case?

Thanks for your replies ladies I'm under gynaecologist at hospital and she's lovely I had one at 11 weeks and ended up needing emergency d and c and the rest have been 5 weeks and now I can't seem to get past 4 weeks I catch straight away after a loss but all seem to be chemical now positive test that fades I've had all the blood tests I'm under endocrinologist for my thyroid which is now under control so I just don't know where to go from here my gynaecologist has now said emperical care soon as I get a positive test which from some googling I assume is steroids but I don't seem to get to that stage as I lose before they prescribe anything so perhaps need to ask if can have them before to prevent a miscarriage as I think I'm having one now as cramping x

Hi I had 7 miscarriages and went on to have to health boys.
My mum was also prone to miscarriages too but in the end once she was pregnant the gave her a stitch to hold the baby in straight away. It's called a shrodcia stitch it's put at the neck of the womb to hold it closed throughout pregnancy. X

Meant to say maybe you might need to talk to your consultant to ask for this procedure. X

@tinkerbell999 I’m so sorry to hear that. I’ve had friends who have had 7/8 miscarriages and finally had a baby. Please don’t lose hope. One thought I had was is it worth not ttc for a few months? I know that’s really tough as I’m also ttc and there is the desperate need to ttc every month. Just wondering if a bit of a break is worth a try in case it helps? And use that time to rest and do all the other bits you need to do to get your body ready
