Thanks Button.

To recap, I'm Tiny, 32 and in a same sex relationship. I began my TTC journey almost exactly a year ago when I was referred for fertility treatment. We did 2 cycles of stimulated donor IUI at the beginning of the year, the first was BFN, the second one resulted in a BFP but the pregnancy ended in a silent miscarriage. The embryo grew to 6+0 and I finally passed the sac at 9+5 following medical management. We can't try again at present as my cycle hasn't yet returned, I'm still getting positive pregnancy tests and I've developed mild anaemia due to blood loss.

Hi everyone . . . my donor had her egg collection today, but we won't know how many eggs were collected and fertilised until tomorrow. All this waiting is killing me . . . ! Embryo transfer should be Monday or Tuesday.

I'm not very optimistic - my lining is only measuring at 7mm, so pretty thin. And I can't shake a really negative feeling that it's not going to work.

Hi guys just caught up...
So sorry to hear about the BFN @Ttc2017 and the failed cycle@Bear1980 I really struggled when mine failed as I thought (stupidly it would seem) that once I got a BFP I was home free. If you want to chat feel free to PM me. I'm heading back to Greece in July and just picked up me meds today. All except the patches that is- I had to order those separately. Anyway best of luck to all and hello to all the newbies! 👋🏻

Thanks so much, button.

I'm a lesbian mum to a thirteen month old DD, who is my DP's biological daughter, conceived through IUI. I've a history of miscarriage with my previous (male) partner, PCOS and a clotting disorder, and one stubborn ovary that may or may not be on the blink. I've been trying on and off since January last year, and am thinking one more try at IUI before we go to IVF.

Hi all

My story. 41 and married to DH. DS is nearly 7. Secondary infertility. DH is fine. My AMH is 1.1. Failed cycle Nov 2016. Follicles collapses before collection. Bad experience at clinic. Currently trying to get compensation. Changed clinics June 2017. Matched with donor Nov 2017. They then became uncontactable by Clinic. We pulled out. Now waiting for new donor egg collection w/c 18 June. Consent forms signed yesterday and Zoladex implant for me as can't go back on OCP due to migraines

Hi everyone!

I've been active here some 5 threads ago, then I had to take some time off. Here's something about me.
Paisley, 32, single, living in Belgium.
Actively TTC since May last year, I had 5 unmedicated IUI in Denmark, then 1 home insemination. Not a single BFP or even a day of delay of my AF. Otherwise completely healthy, all results & scans are top notch. I decided for an IVF in Denmark again. I already had my consultation last week, I got all the info and prescription. I'm waiting for the June cycle to go for it!

I quickly scanned those threads that I missed. I got teary to see that some ladies I remembered from that long time ago had their babies. That gives me so much hope! Congrats to all of you, lucky ladies! Flowers

Hi all,
I'm 37, single and been through 2 unsuccessful medicated IUI cycles. Currently on my 3rd, sitting here waiting for my next scan. I've been surprised at how much emotional I've got with my previous cycles - don't know if it's hormones or just a sign of how much I want this.
If this cycle is unsuccessful I'm going to move to IVF, which scares me quite a lot!

Hi everyone, I’d just introduced myself on the previous thread! I’m 33 and have a 6.5 year old concieved naturally with my DH. After 5 years, 2 rounds of failed IVF, many failed and abandoned rounds of IUI and multiple tests where mine have come back normal and DH’s sperm has been consistently poor, we are giving donor sperm with IUI a go. So far we are 2 rounds down and no joy. I’m having a HSG to check my tubes and the scratch this month so that will be fun! Hmm then we will give our last straw a go in July. After that, I don’t know, I’m pretty drained at this point.

Hi everyone. I'm more of a lurker at this stage but thought I'd say hi anyway. I'm 34, single, had a missed miscarriage at nearly 10 weeks in October after TTC naturally with my then partner but we're no longer together (thank goodness as he turned out to be a piece of work). I've got fertility tests next month and will decide what to do subject to the results of those tests and the consultation to discuss my options.

Hi I'm Bear, 37 (soon to be 38) and single. I had 3 rounds of iui before switching to ivf at the end of last year. So far my 1st cycle was not great and only got 2 mature eggs. 2nd cycle was better with 5 mature and 4 fertilised. Got my bfp on the fresh transfer but unfortunately I lost it around 7 weeks (found out it wasn't developing when I started spotting at 5 weeks. Currently waiting for my hug levels to drop to a negative range before going ahead with frozen embryo transfer.

Thanks mandy I know what you mean about getting bfp and thinking this is it. In the back of my head I knew there was a chance but didn't think it would actually happen. I am doing ok now, still have some down times but mostly trying to look forward. Will be easier when I stop having to do weekly bloods test to check the hcg levels.

Hi, more of a lurker at the moment. I’m in a SSR married to my wife. About to start IVF in the next 3 months. Attempting to create embryos with my eggs (with PGS) and my wife doing the carrying. We’ll see how it goes and whether it works. If it doesn’t after 3 goes we’ll use her eggs as she’s much younger than me. We’re planning on doing this in Cyprus. Some advice and support along the way will be invaluable. Good luck to everyone.

Ah well done button, I would hate to see this thread die. I found it invaluable and have made some good friends from it.
I'm pickle, now 34. Had 2 x medicated iui's last year and was amazingly lucky to conceive on 2nd attempt and now mini pickle is 5 and a half weeks old. I still like to stay on here to see how you are all doing and offer any advice I can :)
Paisley hey 👋 sorry to hear you are no further forward, wish you the best of luck for future cycles x

Hi everyone! I'm having a rare moment of optimism, which is very unlike me. I have my first embryo transfer tomorrow (donor eggs due to POF). We have five well-developing embryos today, which is day 4 (and seven not so good embryos - not sure what will happen to those). I'm praying that at least two will hang in there and be suitable for transfer.

I'm excited, terrified, hopeful, anxious . . .

The best of luck, Tired !

Pickle , I'm glad that someone here remembers me. I so hoped to be much further along the way at this moment. But I guess it's a marathon.
One more month of waiting to go, then it will hopefully be a go time. I still need to pick up meds from the pharmacy - I need to go there mentally prepared, since I will be bringing a foreign prescription and there might be some reluctance on the pharmacist's side.

Fingers crossed for the scan, Mojito .
