So let us start by having a roll call!!!

I am kwick
I have been TTC #1 since September 2015 - I have gone through 9 treatments (natural IUI, medicated IUI, stimulated IVF, natural IVF). I have had 2 BFPs and 2 MCs... currently a bit in limbo land but likely to try donor egg/embryo next as I am getting on in years (42).

Whoop whoop a brand new thread! Thanks Kwick

I'm Pez, 34, single and currently 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant (!!!) with my first IVF cycle. Prior to that I did 3 unmedicated IUI but all failed. I'm using Create FC in London.

Very cautiously excited and crossing my fingers that the journey continues

Found the thread! I was in a bit of a panic....

Karen, Canadian, 37 years old, 11weeks pregnant. (Scanned myself today, baby still moving)

This was my 4th iui. Had two other bfps but ended in miscarriage.

Next official scan Wink is next Tuesday. Spend my days worrying.

Currently waiting for Thai take away.

witchmountain · 20/04/2017 22:44

Thanks the thread, Kwick!

Karen, glad the scanning is still positive Smile

My intro, copied and pasted from last thread: I'm 37, just, single, and used London Women's Clinic (London branch) in the second half of last year to do IVF with donor sperm and freeze embryos. Didn't go straight ahead with pregnancy as I desperately want to save enough to retrain for a different job once I've given birth, but thought I'd try and freeze embryos whilst eggs are a bit younger. I went for embryos over eggs because I'm not bothered about meeting someone and hence am not making effort to do so, which makes it quite unlikely I'm going to suddenly acquire a partner who I instantly feel ready to have kids with.

First cycle was successful but also did a second one because I'd really like two and didn't want to spend the next couple of years worrying about not having enough. May be kidding myself on the time left to have two, but let's see.

Hi all!

Karen, glad the baby is still moving around nicely :)

Pickle: excellent spreadsheet! That'll help us all I reckon, cos there's so many of us now!!

Shoes I can't believe you're 37 weeks Shock it's gone so quick!

My intro:
25 (think I'm the baby of the group??) but 26 in 20 days!, single, no previous attempts, and am waiting for July to be over and done with before I start. Going to use CRGW in Wales (which is a 3hr drive from me!) because they feel like the best clinic I've spoken to, and am hoping to book in for my first consult within a few weeks. Need to get my wisdom teeth surgery over and done with first 🤐. That's a week on Tuesday!

Hope everyone's ok!

I need to go to the dentist too as I have a chip in a ceramic crown but I'm shamelessly waiting for my FW8 form to get it done for free ☺️ (I'm broke after spending all my money on treatment so I need to rely on the NHS from now on!)

I've received the date for my 12 week scan (hopefully I'll still be in the running by then!). Easy date to remember as it falls on Election day, 8th June.

@Pez82 will they need to remove the crown to fix it or give you any anaesthetic? I only ask as I saw ky Dentist just after my first MC and cried all over her and she said she would not have been able to treat me (filling replacement) if I had been preggers still.
