Anyway, I'm worried that my husband (separated) could use equity in the house and spend it without my consent. What is required? I know that it can't be done without consent from the spouse but he is that dodgy he would definitely forge my signature for anything.

Does it have to be witnessed, how easy would be for him to do it without my consent?
