Anyone recently got their Decree Absolute from Bury St Edmunds?

Mine was posted on 29/05/2020. I’ve been trying to get divorced for 20 months from an abusive ex. I wondered if anyone had a timeline on when it might come through?

Does anyone have any recent real life experience of Bury St Edmunds processing times for Decree Absolute applications?

My solicitor has posted my application for Decree Absolute twice now and still there is no record of it on the system, despite their email auto-reply saying that applications for Decree Absolute are processed on the day they are received. Clearly this is not the case otherwise it would have happened by now - I am just wondering if my applications are in a pile of things that haven't even been opened yet? I know they are overwhelmed, it's just so frustrating that things are stalled again after such a long and painful journey. I stupidly believed the auto-reply and was expecting to have it by now.

Hi,
Can I ask if anyone had done the financial consent order and then filled for the decree absolute? How long would this take?
Many thanks.

My Decree Absolute was granted on 25th so despite the auto reply from Bury St Edmunds stating that they will process these the day they are received, it actually took about 2 weeks.

Apparently consent orders are taking 4-5 months at present! Shock
