Start using Mumsnet PremiumDocumentary evidence of transactions
(4 Posts)They really won't care about anything more than £200, from what I read. If you can, buy the Lucy Reed book, it's very informative. Let you stbx ask about your small transactions in their questionnaire and let the judge decide if you should respond or not. I think the judge will dismiss it and not look favourably on ex for asking / wasting time.
They are doing it to annoy you, don't rise to it, save your energy for when you need it.
Hope everything works out.
Well I hope they won’t care - surely there’s not time for this kind of nit-picking?
I read a bit about it in Lucy Reed's book (The Family Court Without a Lawyer) I don't think the judge would expect that at all.
Ex is being very petty about disclosure and has asked for ‘documentary evidence’ of a volume of small transactions in coffee shops. Surely the bank statement is enough? Shows the company and the amount - I don’t have receipts. I have explained everything over £100, but not all the every day ins and outs.
What will the court make of this?
