(3 Posts)I’ve offered it but his dad isn’t interested. Any suggestions around managing separation anxiety? I have picture charts, stories etc. Overnights haven’t been a smooth transition.
I would leave the boy to have time with his dad. Am presuming the NRP (dad) doesn’t have 50:50. Does the boy call his dad before bedtime when he’s with you?
My son has recently started spending overnights with his dad on alternate weekends. A court order was in place to say that for at least the first x months there would be a call before bed to say goodnight etc. His dad has said that as the period is ending he will not be allowing my son a call going forward.
Is there anything that can be done? This cannot be in his best interests.
