I sent the forms off yesterday (6 weeks and 1 day after rule nisi).

Generally how long will it take for the absolute?

Did your absolute state the reason for divorce? Adultery in my case 🤦‍♀️

Hi - just a quick question, my Nisi was pronounced on 22 August. Do I have to wait for some sort of paperwork to now be sent so I can apply for the absolute? or can I just apply 6 weeks and 1 day later?

Have you got your paperwork for the nisi? If so yep just apply in six weeks one day

The only paperwork I have had is the certificate of entitlement to a decree nisi which stated the date and time it was to be pronounced. Do I get any further paperwork, or is this all I need? It all just seems so bloody confusing!

@Palaver1 was that to me? If so, yes I do what sorry? I may be being a bit dim, but I could take your comment to mean yes to either option really

How long did it take after pronouncement / approval for your paperwork to come through if you don't mind me asking? I'm just hoping it will be before the 6 weeks and 1 day waiting period so I can get it sent off on the date I have so firmly fixed in my mind for this to all be over.

Within a few hours of applying for it (online divorce), got it by email which was surreal
