Anyone still waiting on Decree Nisi at East Midlands

Submitted my application on 6th March- called they said it was sent to legal advisors on 2nd may.
Any clue how much longer?

No, sorry. We submitted the paperwork in November. Got rhe form back to apply for the Nisi in Feb. Ex has chased it and they just say there is a backlog

Thats strange, I submitted my application on the 18th of Feb and it was read out in the east midlands court on the 9th of April. hopefully you wont be waiting too much longer

If yours wasn’t an online application it may have been sent to bury st Edmunds as I know East Midlands are only dealing with electronic applications all paper are going to bury st Edmunds. I applied for mine in April

Mine was also online, just surprised at the delays...
Does anyone one know the average time the legal advisors take to process it

Hi there!

I sent off my nisi application on 30th November (East Mids) and it was FINALLY read out in court on 16th May (last week!) So it took a good 5.5 months. I have no idea why mine took so long. Both parties have been playing ball, its a relatively straight forward case. The only hold up I can think of is the fact that I had applied for help with fees?

My consent order got sent off last Thursday. I hope and pray that it doesn't take as long. I need that settlement money YESTERDAY!! I am hard up broke!
