Just wondering what other people have decided and agreed regards the house. If you sold it, as main carer (lowest paid job)did you get bigger equity in agreement. Did you have to settle for an accommodation smaller than your needs required for you and children, in a bad area? Or did you keep the house to be sold at a later date?

Hi, just because you have a low paying job (or no job for that matter) doesn't actually make you the main carer.

That aside, both parents will have their accommodation needs looked at, as I'm assuming children will stay overnight with both parents. The fact he has better mortgage raising capability will be factored in to those calculations.

We’ve agreed on a postpone sale for when our youngest (now 5 months) is 18. But our house is recently bought and didn’t have any equity in it.
