We live in a 4 bed dorma bungalow which also has 2 attic style rooms with a separate staircase over the garage. Stbxh has today moved above the garage as he insists that we live in a 6 bed house and the court won't make him pay for me and 2 dc to live in a 6 bed house. Estate agents and council list it as a 4 bed. I can JUST stand in the centre of the rooms but they have sloping walls so I can't walk around, rent them out, use them for much. Prior to splitting up 1 was his office and the other an emergency spare room + my office - it does have a bed in it.
Will it go in his favour on the division and payout?
The house is valued at 350k, took 4 yrs to sell (when we bought it), needs some decorating ( wall paper hanging off the walls in a semi stripped way), shower broken in my bathroom so need a new one. New build 3 bed bungalow going for 300 kish in the village.
Does the 4 bed-6 bed thing make a difference?
