So, it's been a year since husband left totally out of the blue and I've been up and down and inside out.
I thought he was the love of my life and we'd been together for around 20 years. I was distraught, all my plans for the future and retirement destroyed in one fell swoop. We are just about to finalise the divorce.
Yesterday I found out that for the last few years he's been shagging my "friend", what an awful betrayal.
I was just about to get all fired up about it when I realised I actually couldn't care less.
I couldn't find a single "duck" to give.
Looks like I'm over him - yipee I am happy, content, life is good.

Yes, you've got to the point where they've finally managed to kill off all of the tiniest bit of love you had left.
It's a very freeing thing, isn't it?
Now you can move on, and wish them the best of luck with it all because they'll probably need it.

I was typing out a long response to this having seen my exH out with the gf he cheated on me with last week and deleted it because I realised I don't GAF either. And I've had a great weekend with people that I wouldn't have met if we were still together. My life is better for having him out of it and it sounds like yours is too. Well done us
