As the title says really. There is a chance we may end up legally separating at the start of the divorce process and being in the same house until this time next year.
What would happen then about any financial disclosure?

Where you live should not make any difference to the financial disclosure process.

ExH refused to leave the FMH until the consent order was agreed and approved by the court. It made the atmosphere incredibly tense, despite it being amicable, but made no difference to the settlement.

Thanks. Is it therefore possible to get a financial disclosure whilst starting the separating thing within the same house?

It is indeed possible. I am doing exactly that at the moment. It does make for a frosty atmosphere but it IS possible. Consider mediation - it is a lot cheaper and quicker than going through solicitors, and there is a much better chance of both parties sticking to the agreement if they feel they have invested in the process and had some input into the decision-making process. BUT - do get independent advice and make sure you scrutinise the Disclosure Forms for any irregularities.

Thank you that's really useful to know. I will look into mediation.

Partly placemarking, but it is very difficult making any headway if (in my case 'DW') refuses to follow the general rules and is determined that she owns 98 percent of everything. I believe at least SOME mediation is expected by the court but can be waived in exceptional circumstances.
