(2 Posts)My mortgage company have just estimated 6 weeks from the appointment where we completed the mortgage application (I had all the correct paperwork with me) to it all being completed.
Hi - quick summary. 6 months after separating STBXH still living with me as he can't afford to leave. I'm buying him out and have an appointment with the solicitor and the mortgage company next week. I've been paying the mortgage for a while anyway so financially it's fine. I need to know time scales- so if as I expect the mortgage company agrees then how long might it be before they release the cash? I know they need to change the deeds to my name only but no idea if this takes a week, two weeks or longer? Any ideas??
