Hi im new to here. My husband and I are separating after 15 years. Its very complicated though. He stashes all his money away, shares a tiny proportion of it, I am srlf employed abd work part time as a beauty therapist. I need to get away but the problem is we sold our house 3 years ago as was given some land next to his mums property, so was planning on building, 3 years on im still in a motorhome with 2 children and 2 dogs dont get me wrong its a big motorhome, my son lives on a summer house? My dogs have a kennel but myself my husband and daughter are in this motorhome. Privacy is an issue, my daughter has just started her period and i feel she needs her own room and space, she is still on a pull out bed. As my husband has watched so many grand design proframmes i think he's on another planet. He now doesnt see if necessary to build anything for us. We have no formal address so have no waste disposal its just not ideal, its caused endless arguments snd iv decided it be best we part company. Where do I go from here? My 2 labs have got to come with me too thsnksSherry

See a solicitor and file for divorce is the first thing you need to do. Have you had any legal advice so far?

No none whatsoever.

Go to CAB first for some advice to get you started. Solicitors are darn expensive so only use if/when necessary. Some offer half hour of consultation for free but you need a 'plan' when you see them so get your questions lined up and answer 'simple' parts yourself from internet searches etc.
Being 'given' land sounds odd so things could be rather complicated, try to get a grip and establish facts on this before seeing a solicitor.
