Just that really
Stbexh....can't pay either. I left 4 years ago for ow...left me with 2 dc's and debt in my name and rental that I couldn't afford. Uearsvog acting out and verbal and emotional abuse that was just getting physically. It took a long time to get to this place where I finally went to be free. He has bermtdiagnoised as borderline pd. With narcissism. Hasn't paid any mainternance for 2 years and flits between abroad and home while trying to find himself and start a new life.....repeat....MIL and new woman paying and enabling this. He still self harming etc. .
Looked at cost...is there any help? I work P/T but on zero hours.

Would you not qualify for legal aid given your circumstances?
Have a look at this link to find out.
Good luck.

You can apply for remission of the court fee

hmctsformfinder.justice.gov.uk/HMCTS/GetForms.do?court_forms_title=apply%20for%20help

There is guidance online for completing the divorce forms

hmctsformfinder.justice.gov.uk/HMCTS/GetLeaflet.do?court_leaflets_id=140

Hey OP I'm in the same situation as you. EXdh is more than able to pay for a divorce but isn't likely to and because of my MH i can't work and don't earn anything other than ESA and the maintenance I get for DC. I'd suggest heading to your local citizens advice bureau, I'm going there later this week to see if they can help me. good luck and keep me updated.

unless there was DV you won't get legal aid anymore as the rules changed in about 2012

OP & Chrononaut feel free to DM me as I have just gone through the remission process and have been granted a full waiver of the fees - it was spectacularly easy!
