Am I too sensitive?

I've posted before about my ex. I feel like he's harassing me but I don't know if I'm too sensitive.

He send me long texts about how I've destroyed our child's innocence and childhood (I left him) and how I'm selfish and deluded. Is this normal ex angst?

Our child has started saying she doesn't like the childminder. I've said we need to give it a good go. He keeps picking her up early from school so she's not going regularly and I think it's not helping as she's not in a routine. He sends me texts saying I'm not listening to her, I'm not facing reality, I just don't want the inconvenience. I have poor attitude and skills as a parent etc.

I was really upset because I didn't see her on her birthday last year. And I said to him I want to see her on her birthday this year and then he booked a hoaliday to take her away over that week.

It's just starting to grind me down. I contacted a solicitor this week so we can get divorced and get a proper arrangement.

I don't know if I'm too sensitive. Sorry for my rant

No you aren't being too sensitive. He is being a twat - presumably why he is an ex. Keep all the text messages for when you see a solicitor. . He can't abuse you - judges take a dim view of such behaviour and it will go against him.

Thank you. He just sent me a message saying "be careful what you do regarding child contact .... you may live to regret it"

Yes get proper arrangements in place.

In terms of the messages etc do not respond to anything emotional. Keep messages purely about kids arrangements and contact. Keep it cold, clear and concise.

Same when you see each other, do not react to anything emotional. Keep concise and practical. Ignore all the other shit xx

Keep copies of EVERYTHING. Do NOT communicate by phone, only text, email, letter so you have a paper trail.
