I share 50/50 custody with my ex and we live in the same town. However he has gotten a job 2 hours away and stays there during the week and returns on the weekend.

For the days that he has our children during the week (when he is away) he has his parents looking after the children (school drops offs, homework, bedtime, the usual).

I know it's fine to get cover in occasionally (I do it myself for a few hours sometimes) but I don't he's fulfilling his care agreement because he's offloaded it to his parents.

He says his parents are "family" so there is no difference but I think there is.

We did have issues during the marriage/divorce where his parents acted like a 3rd party in the proceedings.

Any thoughts?

I go back to court and renegotiate.
