Relationship on the rocks? Mumsnet's Separation and Divorce pages are packed with detailed information and advice.
I've just re read my consent order (I was the petitioner) (signed 2 years ago). It states as follows; It is ordered that….The Respondent will pay to the Petitioner maintenance in the amount sent out below. The amount shall be whatever payments when added to:(a) the payments, if any made by the Respondent to the CSA pursuant to a calculation, and(b) paragraph 5 below, total £xxx per annum.Paragraph 5 then states that the Respondent pays to the Petitioner £x per month for the benefit of the children.Does this mean that when the child maintenance aspect stops, that maintenance continues at £xxx less £x?I can't see anything about 'global' or anything like that and am just a bit confused.Thank you for any light you can shed on the wording.
