Divorce and relocating

Hi, i'm new to the forums. Currently going through a separation / divorce with my partner of 11 years. We have 3 children together and things were not working for both sides. She had decided to relocate 250 miles away were she owns a house with no mortgage etc. Im struggling to come to terms with the end of the relationship and with seeing the kids so infrequently. It looks like i will have them around a third of the year but still its going to be tough. In terms of finances i will ensure she has more than the csa would suggest and ensure they are provided for, has anyone else had a similar experience of such a distance?

How old are the children? My ex-husband moved 400 miles away but children were old enough to fly down on their own every other weekend and it was relatively cheap if tickets were purchased well in advance.

3 children aged 4 to 8. We will split the drive so that will be easier. Its going to be hard butim not letting the kids down
