Divorce/separation

That 2 year separation thing?

Me and dhI can't afford to live separately atm but I think it really is the end of our marriage. I need time to organise my own financial security (retrack my extinguished career- have been a stay at home mum for 12 years). We pretty much live separately but in the same house - eat separately, sleep separately etc.

After two years, can this count towards a No blame divorce or does it have to be formally logged somewhere from the start in order to count? Any advice about this 2 year process would be welcome.

I think if you are eating separately, sleeping separately and doing your own washing it counts as separated. I know that I and h have been in separate bedrooms for 18 months before be moved out 3 months ago, but that alone didn't count as separated. I'm sure someone with definite advice will be along in a bit. Good luck
