meant to be going to Drayton Manor next week, what else is there to do in the area if its pouring down?

will be driving a long way, can't just go home! what else could we do with 2 kids age 8 and 10 in the area near Litchfield?

not Cadbury World, done that to death!!

Snowdome in Tamworth, has a pool with a couple of flums there too

Honestly? If its not too bad I shove on some rain jackets and go to drayton manor - might be less crowded cos its raining so queues shorter...

We were on holiday the other week staying next to Alton Towers and to be honest the rubbish weather meant we went there more than anywhere else because once you had rain coats and umbrellas up you could just keep going (until they closed the rides due to severe thunderstorms! yes the weather was that bad!). The park was still busy ish but ALOT quieter than it would of been considering it was the first week of the summer holidays
