Best place for buying London theatre tickets?? Discounts/ vouchers?

I want to book some theatre tickets (ideally Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) and wondered if anyone had any top tips for discounts, other than

At this stage anything up to 3 months ahead seems to be way more expensive than face value?

Any tips/ tricks? Unwanted tickets?

there is a half price TKTS booth in leicester square, but that would mean turning up on the day and hoping for the best ...
