Superdry sizing for men

Can you help please?
I would normally buy DH a size Large in M&S, Boss, Nike, pretty much anywhere..

He ordered a Superdry sweatshirt for himself in the summer and it says L but it's too small. I think he ordered it from Amazon though so maybe it's fake Superdry or it could even be a Ladies Large rather than a men's.

Does anyone have any experience of Superdry sizing please?

TIA

Definitely comes up small. My 13 year old son wore a mens small when he would have been xs elsewhere.

It comes up really small, I think because it’s only meant to be worn by teenagers 😀

Yes, they do come up very very small.

thank you all. I'll go for the XL then Smile
Poor DH - he's put on a bit of weight recently. He won't like the X Grin

I think their jumpers are supposed to be a ‘slim fit’ so they are a bit snug if you are used to a more lose fit.

They definitely come up small. My DH is an XL most places but with some Superdry stuff he goes XXXL!

I live in their hoodies (def not a teenager but much to 13 yr old nieces disgust me and her have the same hoody 🤣) and I'm a medium most places but need a large with superdry. The stuff washes amazingly well though! Got hoodies which are 5/6 years old still going strong!

To be honest I'd go XXL - at least he can take a bit of comfort if it's still on the looser side!
