Does anyone wear anti pollution mask?

I cycle 2 miles each way and only a third is through the park.
The other 2 thirds is through heavy stop/start queueing traffic including buses.
I'm considering a mask to protect my lungs. Does anyone else use a mask?

Must be able to filter out some particles. PM10s?
I think I tried one & it was uncomfortable. I do hate diesel fumes, though sympathies there.

Have you tried one? My flattest route to one of my workplaces is alongside a bypass and it stinks, so I am considering this. Any feedback would be interesting. flowers

I used to cycle to work through central London so tried an anti-pollution mask but didn't like it. It made my face sweaty (and rubbed my make-up off) and (to my ears) my breathing sounded like Darth Vader. Maybe things have moved on since then but....
