Can anyone help me find an expression?

Hello, this might be a bit of a challenge, I'm trying to find a specific expression. The meaning of which is basically 'you accuse others of your own faults'. Is there an expression in English for this? It might be something to do with snakes or venom and seeing inner truth? Not very helpful, I'm sorry but I thought I'd throw it out there, see if anyone knows.

I hope it's not maybe originally an expression in a different language which is why I can't think of it in English!

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones?

Yes, the pot calling the kettle black.

Or 'For the skelf in your eye, I cannot see the plank in mine' (thank you, Netflix, for the Medici) Grin

You speak with a forked tongue?

All good but not quite it. It's something like someone speaks of others with venom, their own inner truths... something like that.

Thanks for taking the time to reply Brew
