where to go for family meet up

Hi All,
I need to find a toddler friendly cafe/restaurant/pub just off the M5 south of Bristol.My stepmother can only walk very short distances and is on crutches and my dad needs to take it quite easy as has had a mental breakdown.My son will need to burn off a bit off steam as we will have travelled for an hour and a half.Thought about national trust bit there don't seem to be any aroung there serving hot meals.Please help!!Jx
