here

all well thanks just very anxious this little one might come early ie before I'm ready, have so much to do b4 then. Had terrible night's sleep full of nightmares of ghostly children in empty houses and me walking along dark country roads on my own to visit places where people have died!!! Lovely pre-natal dreams.

So I'm hitting this list of to do things like I mean it and am banning myself from the computer until I've achieved summat!

Have soaked some fruit overnight so I can make some barmbrack (my mother just gave me a taste for it) made witih earl grey tea and cinnamon rather than all spice.... I'm addicted!
thinking of you

That's a beautiful painting

it's in the National Gallery isn't it?

We we're in London for a long weekend over the summer and went to Tate Modern.

It was a glorious day and walking across the Millenium Bridge and looking at the view down the Thames was really uplifting.

You're so close to having the baby and the pregnancy has gone well, but I can understand your fears .

Those dreams must really unsettle you, Ipa.

Keeping busy is a good idea and trying to stay positive.

How's your ds, has he gone back to school.G went back on monday and seems happy enough, thank God.

Barmbrack is lovely with lashings of butter and a good strong cup of tea, comfort food.

Never had it made with Earl Grey, that's kind of anglicizing it a bit, isn't it?

LOL Tnog at Anglicizing the barmbrack!! It's wrong in theory but it's tastes good in practice!

I love that walk along the bridge to the Tate, last time we went it was in a deluge so I couldn't really enjoy it but the river's great isn't it?

Big hug to you and have a good day!

Oh Ipa, it's lovely to catch up with you it really is, even though it was very fleeting.

I'll say a prayer and light a candle to St.Theresa for you and the baby.

Everything will be fine, you wait and see

Bye for now, Ipa, take care.

bye and thanks Tnog..... speak soon and that workshop sounds great, a perfect setting to paint landscapes no?

I saw the Quiet Man with John Wayne and thought of you when there was some gorgeous landscape. Beaches not quite as fab as the ones in Ryan's daughter though!
