Can anyone help me?
Years ago there was a documentary on tv (I think in the 70s) where Malcolm McDowell talks a bit about sub-text and then demonstrates by speaking the notes he had written for his own subtext leading into MacBeth's "tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow...". It was a revelation to me, unforgettable.
Unfortunately, what WAS forgettable to me was the name of the programme, the channel it was shown on, if it was part of a series or anything else about it! TBH I'm not even certain it was McDowell but I'm pretty sure it was (Simon Ward maybe, less likely though).
Can anyone help me? I have done so many google searches to no avail. I would love to see it again.
