I was at their gig at Edinburgh's Queen Hall last night, took me right back to being 15 and having their album 'Remote' on loop while studying for my 'o' grades.
It was good to see them doing new stuff, albeit not my cup of tea- heavy funk-jazz- but I especially enjoyed all the classics- Looking out for Linda, Strength to Strength, Mother Glasgow, Labour of Love.
I got very emotional during 'Remote' as Pat sang beautifully.
Anyone else been to a gig on this tour?
(ps- my DH and I were easily the youngest audience members, a nice change from feeling ancient amongst whipper snapping 18 year olds!)
