Hi

Myself and a friend are hoping to see a show in London next year.
Thinking about Mamma Mia as we loved the dvd.

however been on a review site and quite a few people have slated it. Is it worth seeing?

Seen phantom and The Sound of Music and loved both.

Other recommendations greatly appreciated!!!!

Wicked is well..... WICKED.

The best show I've seen and I've seen lots, only Les Mis comes close.

Not seen Mamma Mia, my parents have and enoyed it, it is much better than the film. Light hearted feel good sort of show.

If you want somethin a bit lighter have you considered LEGALLY Blonde or Priscilla (broad mindedness needed for Priscilla). I really enjoyed both of these.

If you love musicals and like the Abba music you will enjoy the stage version.

My DH, PIL and DF all went when it first opened and we all throughly enjoyed it.

Actually have you seen Les Mis? It is pretty much a must see. I've seen it a few times on tour but am thinking of re-visiting it.

Saw Les Mis in the summer for the second time, it has changed in the last 15 years but still brilliant. We may go again in the summer when Alfie Boe is taking over as Valjean. He was the lead in the recent 25 anniversary concert, although Simon Bowman the current lead is excellent as well.

Wicked is excellent as well.

I haven't seen Mamma Mia but loved the film and it is on my list to see.

Thanks for all your replies. Not sure what to see now!!!!

Fancied Mamma Mia as I was told it is finishing next year and we both like Abba.
Haven't seen Les Mis but have been told it is fantastic. Will consult with my friend and may end up tossing a coin.

If you like Queen We Will Rock You is very good as well.

I am surprised you didn't like Les Mis Cat64, as most people seem to rave about it.

Bruffin-I like Queen but not sure if my friend is a fan. We are meeting tomorrow to discuss, so might get nearer to making a decision then.
