Drugs - what is the likely outcome?

One of my friends had been growing weed in their attic and had the equipment in there along with a few plants drying out. Anyway, they have had an inspection from their landlord and some scheduled work carried out but the workers had to gain access to the attic and were up there a fair while. Nothing was said at the time and the workmen left with no incident, however I am concerned about the repercussions from this. Will my friend loose their tenancy? Will the police be informed? I've been trying to ring her all day today but have had no reply at all and no response to messages either.

Do you know if the workmen informed the Landlord?

They never said anything at all on leaving and she's heard no more from landlord or workmen so we don't know but I've still not heard from her which is very unusual.

Good heavens, tell her to get them out and clean the place up. Of course she would lose her tenancy

Surely the workman could not hwve missed it.

The 'LL has every right. Most tenancy forbid criminal activity.
She wouldn't be held in custody or owt though. Not for a few plants.

It depends what the workmen were like, tbh. Some would report it, others wouldn't.

I think if they were going to, however, your friend would have heard relatively quickly. (And yes, I imagine that growing drugs in the attic would indeed have been in breach of her agreement).
