Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place! But i’m trying to buy something on Very.com & I’ve been given a credit limit of £750. Daughters laptop broke today and she’s doing her alevels so looking to buy a new one, anyway. The laptop & insurance on it is £1,000 (she’s paying!) Anyway, does anyone know if I can still use the credit & pay the difference? Or does one have to stick to the credit limit?

Any help would be appreciated!!Smile

Credit limit is the amount they are "lending" you. I don't see why you can't check out and pay the difference.
Try it and see. Worst that happens is they say no.

Why don’t you ring them and explain the situation and see if they’ll increase the limit ?

You might well have solved this by now, but in case not you can always make a payment of 250 now so you can use that plus your 750 credit to get to the laptop amount. If it's a MacBook you're after you could maybe have a look on Amazon and see if they offer you the 5 instalments? I had three to buy at the start of the year and buying them like that was far less painful.
