Brexit stash question

Are people buying extra of food/supplies? If so, do you mind sharing what? Is it a particular type of food that will have boarder issues, or more that you are sticking up on basics in case of general issues (e.g. tinned goods, long life milk)?


I have already a little stock of life saving medication for a family member, not a crazy amount but about 3 months worth (to be fair, hospital recommend this as often a few weeks wait for specific things).

They will push the deal through parliament now and everything will continue as normal. No need to stockpile. Stockpiling is for No Deal scenario where imports/exports are disrupted - the Tories have such a big majority now that the deal going through is inevitable, and part of the deal is a transitional arrangement which keeps imports/exports moving as usual so no border issues.

When the honeymoon ends next December that might be a different matter if satisfactory agreements haven't been reached.

December 2020 seems like it may be more tricky than January 2020 as we should be going into transition next. There is still the possibility of no deal or very limited deal in December.
