We’re thinking about merging this section, what do you think?

Hi all,
We’re doing some work on making the Talk boards more useful and user-friendly for both regular and new users. After looking at some stats for the site, we think we could boost activity on the whole by merging some of the lesser used sections.

We’re proposing to fold the topics in this section into the Money matters area.

This should increase the number of topics in the section - and hopefully lead to more posts and responses to members.

Yes I only really come on here for the Frugaleers threads whereas Money Matters gets so much more traffic

Jesus, the credit crunch was what, 10 years ago? Just get rid of it!

Yes, I visit both sections, but they seem to overlap.

Could you rename it frugal living? Or something.

Credit crunch is outdated, it was a reference to a particular time a number of years ago. I like the frugal living suggestion, but is that not creating more when merging is the desired result.

I visit both so combining would be great

Yes I think it's a good idea.

I wouldn’t mind it merging but not called frugal living as a lot of money matters are not related to frugal living.
How about
Finances/frugality

Do it. I love Money Matters but rarely look at Credit Crunch.

Another one who thinks credit crunch is outdated - some younger people will just have been managing pocket money when the term was first used. Good idea to merge.

Yes but stay as Money Matters and then could there be a Frugal Living in Home and Garden like there is an Ethical Living? As for some people it's a mindset and way of life broader than money.
