Weekly to monthly pay

Hubby started a new job yesterday (yay). In his previous employment he was paid weekly & we budgeted accordingly. In his ne employment he will be paid monthly. As he receives his last pay from his old employment on Friday, it will leave us 5 weeks without any income other than CB for our son. I can cover the mortgage and a couple of other large bills, but I have no idea how we are going to manage week to week until the end of May.

We did this. Starting off is hard, but monthly is way easier long term.
I made a list of bills then prioritised them -
Council tax
Mortgage / rent
Etc

Do important things like fill car with fuel if it's your work transport.
Do a practical food shop - large bags of basic pasta that are cheap and long lasting

See what you can cut out for a month. Magazines / coffees/ anything non-essential

Use it as an excuse for a clear out and sell unwanted / outgrown stuff - all the £1/£2 items add up

@Rainie130 hope something helpful there
