Too tired to write much, except to say that I hope things improve with DH Wreck, that is not okay. And sorry to hear about your DH Cag. Disc pain is the pits. And the face Sneaky, sounds very uncomfortable, is the treatment helping? Is your gastroscopy tomorrow Girlie ?Hope it’s not too bad, I expect the idea of it is almost worse than the reality.

I need to keep declutter it. Making progress but so much to do.

Couple of mixed days with the dc here. DS has been very anxious (ie screechy and prone to meltdowns) and dd hasn’t been napping properly so has been quite overwrought too. Sigh. They've both had some lovely sweet moments but also some dramatically awful ones in the last couple of days. I’ve eaten a lot of chocolate. Oh well. DH is off work tomorrow and we are off to PILs for ‘Christmas’ till Sunday. I have already gained 4 lb so would quite like to get back to the diet and crack on but hey ho. Would also like Christmas to be over with for DS, who finds it stressful, but needs must.

Will try to catch up properly next week... can’t spend too long on my phone at pils this weekend as they don’t really approve (and they have a point tbh - I don’t think constant access to the internet does family relationships any favours). In many ways visiting the PILs is like stepping back to the early 80s. Luckily I have naturally big hair and a fondness for prawn cocktails so it’s all good grin

Ggreengrass1 Fri 04-Jan-19 06:24:08

Have a good time in the '80's seasmile
Going to get up in a minute but so cosy in the flannelette!
Have a good day everyone

Thanks for the new thread unescorted. I had no idea we were even near the end of the last one. That was a bit of a surprise.

School starts today and then I go to visit the NHS anxiety and depression councillor. Feels slightly like being put in the remedial spelling group in primary school.

First, the morning...

Rightwayup Fri 04-Jan-19 06:39:52

Riding today and need to do small shop

ememem84 Fri 04-Jan-19 06:54:37

Morning. Dr in an hour. Dparents are dropping me there - they’re coming to get ds as usual and dr is on their way back to their place.

Best get up really...

northender Fri 04-Jan-19 06:54:51

Panicking about study, big weekend coming up.

Taking the car for a service today and the dc are back at school. Ds is still fast asleep!

Em hope the drs goes well

Autumn do you think the nhs councillor won't be as good as a private one?

AutumnLeaves12 Fri 04-Jan-19 07:11:23

Wreck No, not at all. It just feels funny being sent on a course that my pals are not going on. smile

Laska2Meryls Fri 04-Jan-19 07:21:58

Lovemaltesers Fri 04-Jan-19 07:33:09

Thanks for the new thread star

Hope you have a good time at PIL seacow. Christmas seems a long time ago now.

None of us go back to school until Monday.

Today may involve a trip out to buy a new bathroom light switch and to collect an order from John Lewis.

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces Fri 04-Jan-19 07:37:08

Thanks for the new thread Unescorted.

Morning all.
I have training today, so better get a move on.
Hope you all have a good Friday.

Wolfcub Fri 04-Jan-19 08:21:37

Thanks Unescorted and happy frugal Friday to everyone
Girlie, Autumn, Em good luck with your appts today
Sea have a good weekend, sorry to hear the last few days have been tough. I hope you have more lovely moments than difficult ones
Wreck hope the car service isn’t too expensive and that you do something nice whilst it’s being done

We may go to the cinema today, it wholly depends on what side out ds is when he gets up

lifelongfrugaleer Fri 04-Jan-19 08:25:33

Went to post on last thread and you had gone. Still catching up
I will check when mine run to North for the bulb thingy

WreckTangled Fri 04-Jan-19 08:34:25

It's free wolf as it's a lease car. Will wander round Guildford. Dh was going to take me shopping but meh. He still hasn't spoken to me

Happierwithouthim Fri 04-Jan-19 09:00:53

Need to catch up from pg 33 to end of thread yet
Sorry to hear things are not good still wreck you know not talking to you is a form of emotional abuse? I didn't realise that until the end, after kind people here suggesting I LTB a couple of times over the years. Has he spoken to dd, and apologised?

Yesterdays spends
€14.95 in SuperValu snacks for dc (shopping when hungry is not good!) cat food and a few other bits
€17 on layers pellets and rolled oats for the hens, this should last for months as we've only got two now.
€135.01 Dunnes Stores using 3x€10 off vouchers plus €5 will be reimbursed from work. I didn't do a list and bought quite a few things that I'd normally consider too expensive so I'm happy to have stayed under budget.

I've got a €40 voucher for Dunnes Stores, had hoped to get a carry on bag for new Ryanair specifications but their one is just a smidgen too big 42 x 32 x 25cm vs 40x20x25cm. It's by Cabin Zero, 28litre. It's not worth the risk I think. It would be a good gym bag too though, currently squashing everything into dd's old schoolbag because I don't want to spend money.

Wolfcub Fri 04-Jan-19 09:11:46

He hasn’t spoken to you since Wednesday Wreck? That’s awful, df used to do that to me and it’s such a terrible feeling. Take yourself shopping, have tea and cake and buy you and dd something nice. I hope he is speaking to dd cake brew

WreckTangled Fri 04-Jan-19 09:14:25

Well to be fair I haven't spoken to him either

AutumnLeaves12 Fri 04-Jan-19 09:26:26

Oh dear. I'm sorry to hear that. flowers

I'm doing my homework now for my appointment so as to remember what to say.

ememem84 Fri 04-Jan-19 09:47:43

Dr was fine. Not my usual one though and I don’t like her so much. £25. She’s given me two prescriptions for the meds. And suggested I go back in a month or so to see my normal gp to discuss coming off.

The £25 can be reclaimed though so that’s all good.

Was in work for 8.30. Yay.

Hoping dh remembers to drive in today. He was mooting getting the bus. I told him no as we need to pick Ds up later from need car and car seat! Will find out

Wolfcub Fri 04-Jan-19 10:43:58

Cinema tickets booked for this morning. Should have booked last night when there were better seats available but I got distracted. Have packed some Xmas chocolates and sweets for ds and having bacon sandwiches before we go. £7.40 cinema

Ds has a haircut later which will be £16.50 including tip

lillylollylandy Fri 04-Jan-19 10:45:32

Thanks for new thread!

Good luck autumn

north I also have some deadlines to deal with that will take up most of the weekend so I feel your pain.

I've started the day off with a trip to the vet. My old boy, a springer spaniel, started being really unwell yesterday. Doubly incontinent and vomiting - vet reckons it may be a kidney infection so he's in getting blood tests and we'll find out more later. Poor doggy. Hoping this isn't the end of the road for him.

Girliefriendlikesflowers Fri 04-Jan-19 10:59:22

Found you!

Thanks for the new thread unescorted

wreck have you got some rl support while h is being a dick?

Hope kids settle down a bit seacow and pil visit goes well.

Hope the appointment is helpful autumn I don't think reading up will be useful you need to just go and be 100% honest about all the things you struggle with.

My appointment is next thus, am dreading it but my stomach is still not right so will have to have it.

Am currently freezing my butt off at a trampoline park while dd and her mate bounce, I'm wearing both their hoodys 😂
