They are coming out very good value on money saving sites.

Cailleach666 Mon 21-Aug-17 07:01:02

No, but I am looking for a new supplier atm.

I know that moneysavingexpert will be doing a September group switch so I am waiting for that. I have used in the past and found the cheapest deal.

Yes about a month ago. Will probably swap again like I do every year.

Crispsheets Mon 21-Aug-17 07:02:06

Yes I change regularly. I like to pay variable direct debit...is that possible?

CockneyRhymer Mon 21-Aug-17 08:03:52

Yes, they've been good so far. Were the cheapest green supplier when we switched. I don't know about variable DD but reduced our monthly direct debit when I asked no problem.

Yes I have they came out as less than half what I was paying to bg for duel fuel. So far process has been easy.

TheFallenMadonna Tue 22-Aug-17 17:38:24

How bizarre. I have literally just switched. Their website is open on another tab!

Yes, and our bill has dropped, plus we're massively in credit thanks to friends using our sign-up link (both get £50). Really easy to use website too, you can change your monthly payment to the amount and payment date you like.

Have just swapped as well, fingers crossed they turn out to be decent. If anyone is thinking about it please can I give you my link as nobody has joined using mine?

Yes, switched too. Been with them about 2 months and all good so far.

LapdanceShoeshine Mon 28-Aug-17 16:02:48

I've just switched. My monthly payment has gone up a bit, because I was on a really good fixed rate before, but not as much as it would have if I'd taken on a new fixed rate with existing supplier (was £72, is £82, would have been £100)

Also bulb has a flat rate for everybody (I think?) & only buy renewable electricity so it sounds good so far!

furbys thanks x
Am switching later today

I've just switched today also as wanted to be greener and move to more renewable energy.
They supply 100% renewable electricity and 10% renewable gas (working on this too).
For me they were a whopping £45 a month cheaper (that's based on my annual usage last year - so exact figures).
I also got a referral link so you can get £50 credit to your account if you sign up using it (I also get a credit). If I get more than 2 credits I'll make a donation to Crisis to spread the love.

Just seen they're on topcashback so you can get 26 or so cashback too if you use that.

Giving them a try. The quote thingy comes out nearly 200 quid cheaper. Hope they're decent.

Remember those saving figures are a lie if you are on a fix. ( ofgem model is bad). Do some real sums.

Thanks all for the feedback as we have been considering changing to Bulb for a while. Just done it - Greenbeanie88 - used your referral code - hope that gets through to you ok.

If anyone is looking for a referral link we have just received one on signing up - it's here: bulb.co.uk/refer/melanie5862

Thanks @bluesky - I got a notification - I'll make a donation to Children in Need (I've already done Crisis) - I had a few friends sign up too so I feel it's a little way I can give back. I've been with them a month so far and they've been great. No bother - all the online stuff is straightforward. I'll report back in a few months once a few more meter readings are in.
