ziffit vs webuybooks - any experiences please?

Weighing these two up - also considering sending some books to each depending who offers more for individual items.

Mostly concerned about the risk of items getting rejected - the books aren't immaculate. WBB seemed to be far fussier in terms of a list of conditions, which makes me think ziffit is the safer option...

Any thoughts please? Especially if you've used both! Thanks :)

The only sure fire way is to input the barcodes into both sites and see what they offer, Cag. I think you can scan barcodes too, if you want to make it quicker. We Buy Books are fussy about which books they want and their condition, but I made over £220 from them. They also take console and computer games, cds and dvds.

Cheers Creme :) I scanned the same two books on both apps and one was higher on ziffit, the other higher on wbb! So will definitely try both for scanning everything.

I'm just worried about the condition of them, I don't want to send everything only to have it rejected for tiny reasons IYSWIM?

There's guidelines on both sites for how they want them. We Buy Books don't like anything with water damage, or lots of creasing and ov worn appearance. I'd say they accepted 90% of the books I sent them.

oh 90% is pretty good really :) thanks!

I'll have to send any hardbacks to ziffit though as wbb said about dust jackets - I hate dust jackets and always get rid Blush

We use Ziffit or Momox. Ziffit reject, but not too much. Momox reject maybe 5-10%? But you have a return rejects option (£12 per order - so steep if it's 1 rejected book, but better if it's 30. So put as much through in one order as you can!). I usually don't ask for rejects to be returned, but i like the honesty of them offering.
We had a bad experience with WBB (parcel "didn't" arrive, and they were v rude about it).
I compare prices with Ziffit and Momox and go with best payout. Momox want dustjackets and no ex library, but offer better prices. Ziffit seem fairly indiscriminate and will collect from your house if you have a lot.

I sent lots of kids books, cds and dvds to WBB and about 80% was accepted, it was mostly junk I was getting rid of to make space. I didn't make a fortune (some cds went for 1p!) but was happy enough as I was clearing out.
