Anyone want to join me?

I am currently in a massive decluttering and ebay/Facebook selling mission to try and start making a serious dent in my credit card in the next few months.
Anyone want to join me? Would love some moral support!

I have a target of £500 (above my usual minimum payment) by the end of the month.
I'm currently at £287 which I've transferred from paypal into my bank.
My plan has been to prioritise items that are of the highest value or bulky/in the way the most. Also stuff that is seasonal that needs to be sold sooner.
Anyone else have a target in mind?

Hellllooooo

I'm in. I'm separating from my husband and he's buying me out. The money from buying me out will pay deposit, solicitors fees and completely clear my 10k credit cards but leaves nothing for furniture/white goods and home stuff. I reckon I'll be out in around 8-12weeks so in that time I want to make £1k.

So far:
£150 from xmas money

I started listing a few bits on a sell it page last night and have made £13!! A long way to go.

How's the clear out going and have you listed anything?

I've listed and sold quite a bit so far...at £430 just from selling stuff I don't want and also emptying the change jar at the bank (that was £40!)
Have mainly been selling outgrown clothes and toys, unwanted gifted cosmetics and a couple of bits of costume jewellery and similar that I didn't wear. LOTS of post office trips!
Are you using ebay or local selling groups ratbag?

A bit of everything. I'm in a postnatal group that shares stuff so that's where my sales have come from.
Something that is specific on an athletics site just listed and then I try fabcebook first and then go onto eBay. If that all fails it's charity shop.😂

That's some serious selling, are you just going to do this month or next too?

I have unlimited free ebay listing this month so have been hitting it fairly hard and have a bit of time off work so trying to do it in the extra free time. Next month will use my free listings and do a bit of Facebook selling but definitely less ebay.
Some things I had tried to sell on local selling groups such as kids toys or nursery stuff that hadn't shifted I've put on eBay and not only sold but got much more for. I couldn't sell a vtech highchair toy on fb for £2 but got £8 plus post on eBay. It's mad!

Go you

I've got a potential sale of £50 for a pop up tent. Fingers crossed.

Did the pop up tent go ratbag?

I've not got much sold this weekend but have finally shifted the baby swing that I've been cursing taking up space so overall quite pleased!

Yey. Great news on baby swing. It's such a relief when big stuff goes.

Pop up tent went £50
Wii guitar hero £7
Bravissimo top £8

Collecting tonight
Warming plate £10
Step aerobics step £10
Xbox microphones and game £10

With other bits I made over £100 this weekend. 😌😌

Got to take photos of all my tatty teddies next. So many to do though and not much return value but I don't want them so might as well try. :)
