Hi Grin Thank you Cag

NSD. £3.86 in cashback taken as Tesco clubcard points. Checkout smart payouts requested.

Ipsos your little pleasures are more attainable than mine. I want a couple of nights with Daniel Craig and no questions asked.

Fluffy :o

Epic frugal win today! DH got his staff discount card for his new job today. And it turns out I get one too :o :o :o given that we frequent several branches of this store it will be very very helpful.

I'm wondering about all those shopitize type apps. I'm signed up for Quidco and TCB but can only use it on the laptop as I don't have any devices myself. I think the apps might work on DH's phone though? Am clueless.

fluffy ooof Daniel Craig. Good choice. I rather fancy some alone time with benedict cumberbatch. Or Tom hidlestone.

ipsos it's important to have treats for yourself.

I'm starting being super frugal again from tomorrow. Or tonight.

Dh is making pizza. Yippee.

I always thought my DSD had a crush on BC. But she informs me that he looks too much like an otter. :o I saw a brilliant book in The Works the other day though, in the craft section. Benedict Cumberstitch. Cross stitch patterns of him in his various roles. :o

Cag. Download clicksnap, shopitize and topcashback onto dhs phone, then sign in using your quidco details for clicksnap and your normal Tcb details.

If your dh doesn't have any accounts with them then register him, then just log in and out as you need to. Then you can double up on the good freebies.

There's shopmium too but I don't know if mines paid out yet because I locked myself out of Internet banking.

We had chicken goujon wraps for dinner.

Dh's boss is paying him extra for some different work he's doing. It'll be more than double his normal rate.

Thanks for new thread Cag Smile

Collie thats brilliant re BT, well done on sorting it. Does make me angry that they tried it on in the first place though.

Lila I couldn't live like that, mind you I have a very low threshold for useless men at the best of times Wink I think you maybe need to seriously think about your options.

My underwear is Blush I have none that matches anymore! It is on the to buy at some point list though Grin

Work was very busy again today, feel like I have hit the ground running going back this week. Spends £42 on petrol and £2 emergency chocolate for me and colleague! Have also paid the after school club up until May as well.

Cag my mum has booked us all tickets to see Picasso is October, I showed her the link you posted and she said we have to go!! She has also kindly got us tickets to see The Jungle Book Sat night, it looks awesome, can't wait! Will get us dinner somewhere first probably MacDonalds Wink

Right, fell off the last thread, and right off the frugaleering wagon.

Back to my old waysSad. All my money went in together, and I felt a bit flush. Stupid stupid.
Too much to list here, but went off to the outlet at Gretna, got undies (very reduced and badly needed), big tshirts to sleep in in gap, and other bits, and the most amazing pair of sock/trainers in nike. Free airknit they're called, for hobbit feet like mine, amazing. I bid and won another pair on ebay too Blush
And supermarkets. I have four unpacked bags of food on the kitchen floor (bar fridge stuff).

So, the mission is not to shop again for the rest of the month, except milk and bread.

I just posted the 1001st post on the previous thread, how is that even possible Confused? I got carried away talking about heated airers.

Hmm, People's Friend versus Daniel Craig GrinWink... I used to read my Granny's People's Friend, or least the comic strip part of it Smile.

Daniel Craig. Meh. Not my type! Not really sure who is mind you, I'm a bit out of touch! Got a soft spot for Tom Hardy though. :)

Thanks Fluffy I will see if those apps work on DH's phone. I do have a smart phone but it's a very basic one and hardly anything works on it Hmm whereas DH's was an uber cheap brand I'd never heard of (we both buy handsets and then use giffgaff SIMs rather than having contracts) and yet it runs Windows etc. So hopefully that'll work. I'm not going to go out of my way to get things on offer, but we do have a fair few supermarkets around so IF I'm walking past anyway it would be good to take opportunities as they arise. It's great to get cashback as Tesco points, I always boost them - got a shaving gel (which I use anyway) a while back for a couple of quid, and it had 85p of extra points, so £3.40 in restaurant tokens. :)

Yay Girlie! Glad you will see the exhibition too. I can't wait. The Picasso museum in Paris will always have a special place in my heart - it was the first time I ever got to drag my parents round MY choice of exhibition. They'd always preferred art from the Renaissance etc which I've never been into (I can admire it now, but I don't enjoy it IYSWIM and spent my childhood traipsing round rather bored :o). I got my revenge. Mwahahaha. They've seen a lot of Dali too, my other favourite. We've got a Spain project on the go, focusing on artists from there. :o

Can't remember if I said yesterday - I'd mentioned the other day that I'd found some cheap Muzzy DVDs/VHS - well it's been a great success! DCs love it and are picking up some vocab already. And I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy from the nostalgia. :)

NSD for me again but not sure about DH so can't record spends yet, he's streaming with cold (new job = new germs?) so I've sent him to bed. :o Going to watch anime instead and perhaps do a little more organising of craft/home ed supplies. Or alternatively I'll just mess about online for hours. Blush

Tcb and quidco will run on the internet browser of a phone. If you use sainsburys my coupons page and get a £10 spend with 200 extra points or whatever you can buy stuff, get it free or mostly free and get lots of nectar points.

I liked Daniel Craig years ago in "my friends in the north".

Cagliostro · 15/04/2016 20:24

Even my browser on my phone is shit! :o Again DH's isn't. Neither of us have 3G but hopefully we could do it all via wifi at home :)

Evening.

Lets just get one thing straight RIGHT NOW, Em. Tom Hiddleston is MINE, all MINE.

Been a busy day, I haven't kept up with the thread.

Only thing with the shopping apps is most of the offers don't work on online shops.

Spends today.
£6 Karate DS
£12 Training for DD, 2 week.
£6 owed to friends.
£15 M&S, food, used a voucher.
£29 Aldi, including food for the horse box and a fleecy blanket.

Made a SC dish from Nigella, a Morrocan chicken dish with preserved lemons, sultanas, chicken thighs, stock, ginger, chickpeas, olives, onion, cumin seeds, was really lovely and will definitely do again.

Nice thinking Fluffy. Smile

There's a nice article in the FT coming tomorrow about how the government is total crap. “Thatcher education secretary questions state school plans”. Gives one hope.
