money off vouchers

Back in the day of fab tesco points, I used to do all my shopping at tesco. Got lots of clubcard vouchers, used them for holidays, weekends away, meals etc. Since the decline in clubcard (imo) I've shopped around.

Currently shop between, aldi, lidl, tesco and sainsburys.

I have received two tesco vouchers for 12 quid off an 80 spend.

Do you think it's worth spending 80 quid in tesco to save £12? I'm wondering if £68 spent in aldi/lidl would get me a lot more for my money than £80 worth of shopping from tesco

Depends on what kinda stuff you normally buy I'd say... £68 in lidl would get you a lot, might be worth using it though if you needed a big stock up of things that are cheaper at tesco eg some of the value products. Just be careful you don't get sucked in to shopping there regularly again!

Can you use it fir the stuff you just can't get at ALDI? I find I need to do a monthly tesco shop for bits and bobs that ALDI just don't have.

When does it expire? I would include wrapping paper and possibly Xmas cards. Also stamps, same price anywhere and I have to buy 30 to send Xmas cards.

I wonder if they carefully pitched the offer and it works out about the same as buying in Lidl or Aldi. As toobreathless mentioned, it could be used for things like wrapping papers, xmas present extras.

thanks for replying. Well 12 quid is 12 quid of anyones money:)

Due to working stupid hours this week I've decided to order a delivery as it makes life a little easier for me. No mad dash on the way home.

Will decide whether or not to use the second voucher when I see what the quality is like.
