Aldi&Lidl - can anyone recommend any toiletry or cleaning products?

I've been trying food products in Aldi and Lidl more and more recently, but haven't tried any toiletry or cleaning products (have continued to look elsewhere for offers). I just wondered if anyone can recommend any in Aldi or Lidl.

I like the washing up liquid and the dishwasher rinse stuff

I don't use anything else as go to costco and find it as cheap but the washing powder is meant to be good

Aldi Lacura face wash is good. Unscented and non drying. Can't remember the price but so much cheaper than my usual brands.

Have used some Aldi cleaning products and they work well. A green anti bac spray is good, but the smell is horrible iMO. Rinse off quickly!

I'm using the laundry gel tabs and they're fab, as are the dishwasher tabs.

Paracetamol etc as good as any other.

I tried their coconut shampoo (looks a bit like the Alberto balsam one) and wasn't impressed.

Lidl dishwasher 5 in 1,
2 in 1 washing powders or liquid is good
Aldi premium washing up liquid
Bleach is fine
The spray cleaners in both shops do the job.
Lidls tin foil is the best for the price as are floray toilet rolls.
I didn't like the softners.

I prefer Aldi's products to Lidl's but that's just because Aldi is closest to me! I have tried most of the beauty and cleaning products and rate them as very good. I used to be a brand lady using Clarins, Dior etc but times got tough and downgraded and now i actually think Aldi's face creams etc are better. I've use their shampoo, conditioner and toothpastes too. The cleaning products are very good. I use bathroom, kitchen, window sprays. Floor snd sterile wipes very good. Bleach is Bleach in my books. Love their non bio washing powder and softner. Nappies and wipes tip top too.

Jeez, sound like I work for Aldi!!! Grin

Tbh they're good but asda smart price multipurpose cleaner diluted by half in a spray bottle works just as well and costs me a £1 a year.

I wipe up ALOT too.

It's not tested on animals either unlike branded stuff puppy murderers.

All aldi cleaning stuff is good housekeeping recommended so you can't go wrong really.
I use the washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, non bio gel, softner, bleach...it's all good.

Not the Lidl tea tree wipes I bought on Weds. Think they've just put pretty packaging on their domestic cleaning wipes...

Have had Lidl shower cream, which is great and about 39p. The W5 range of dishwasher tablets and surface wipes etc is great. Their black bin bags are the best i've found. the Formil washing tabs and powders are great. DD2 got a huge box of the washing powder at the start of university 2 years ago, and despite everyone in her flat using it, they still haven't even used half of it! The bleach is great, too. In fact, i can't think of anything we don't like from there. They also do baking paper in individual sheets which are perfect for hash browns and the like in the oven!

Aldi dishwasher tablets (the ones with the tabs)

The glass cloths - 2 for 99p. You just wet them and they clean glass and mirrors better than anything else I've used

Detergent

In fact - all the household stuff from Aldi is great. The only thing I don't rate is their fabric conditioner - I only use Lenor, their own brand is like the other supermarkets conditioner, ie not v good.

I like the Aldi daily facial moisturiser with an SPF15. I'm allergic to lots of face creams but have been fine with this one.

Lidl Formil washing powder does the job as well as any other brand. I also like the W5 bleach and washing up liquid.
The Oz shampoo is nice. OH really likes the Cien razors.

Thanks. I will try out some Lidl stuff as and when as it's easy to get to. Aldi is a little more out of the way, but I'll buy a couple of things when I'm in there next weekend. I will still look for any other suggestions if anyone wants to post them.

I use aldi washing tablets. Used to use the non bio but changed to bio and they are great get rid of sweaty smells out of the teens sports/gym wear. I also use the sensitive fabric conditioner. I don't like heavily scented products so these suit us.

The aldi version of flash multipurpose does the same job really good for cleaning the hard flooring we have here.

The men in the house like the shampoo that's like Alberto in the green not sure if it's apple or tea tree.

The dishwasher cleaner is brilliant. Does a better job than the branded ones. The washing up sponges are as good as anywhere else and also get the sponge cloths for wiping the surfaces.

We do use the shower gels if I'm not going anywhere else but usually stock up on branded ones at asda when I go to my mums, who lives near as asda. Usually get Nivea shower gel for 87p. And the line or tea tree one for £1. I will stock up at costco as well when they have offers on things like lynx or toothpaste.

I love the Abbott and Broome hand soaps from Aldi, they smell lovely.

Aldi also used to stock Lacura shower gel which was really nice, similar to Dove but better and less than half the price, I'm really hoping they bring them back!

We also buy our washing powder, fabric softener and cleaning products from Aldi and they have all been fine.

I don't like the Lacura body lotions or the Argan oil handcream.
The washing up liquid is ok.
Bleach is bleach.
The bin bags are fine and so are the dishwasher tablets.
