Hi was out today with Ds for a walk and it seems my purse has been took out of my bag I have no idea where abouts or even how this is happened I didn't notice anything or feel for that matter .
I was due to go shopping with that money as it's my last for a week
Is there any where I can get some help I've reported it to the police who said food bank but I've googled and it's not open until Tuesday now
The police can't do anything about my purse and I've just spent the past hour cancelling my bank card there was £150 in notes and change
Also .ive asked family to lend me but for there own reasons they can not .i get my wAges on Friday but it seems so far away help please is there any where that can help I have bad credit so the bank won't help me out

Make a list of everything you have in the fridge, freezer and cupboards and I'm sure there'll the people who can help you make the most out of what's in the cupboards.

Welcome to mumsnet! Sorry about your purse, that's really bad luck. I'd suggest selling some things over Facebook (shoes and clothes?) until you've got £20 or so to spend on pasta, sausages, peas and similar. That should see you through a week with just you and one child.

Good luck.

No I have bits in but not very much
I'm more annoyed with the palaver of having it stolen
I'll make list shortly and post it

Are you a member of a Church or other religious group? They'll usually help and normally in a far less judgy way than you might think.

Go to local Salvation Army. You don't need to believe or be a member. They will offer help.

I'm a Salvationist and I know they will do what is humanly possible to help.

I'd say Tuesday yes

I've got fish fingers
Chicken burgers
Cheese and broc pasta sauce
Mash tags (half bag)
2 Tins of peas
I've got ham and bread so that's ok for lunches
Still got fruit left over from last week for snacks

That's enough until Tuesday for sure
I just panicked hope the scrote chokes with whatever they spend my money on !!

Aww that's very sweet but I honestly don't expect food of people I just thought there would be something in place for over the weekends with food banks being shut I'm sure I'll manage just annoyed to think I budget and then get it stolen
My cousin possibly will borrow me but think she's in work until 10

That's crap OP I am sorry Flowers

Your list of food sounds fine until Tuesday.

Have a look around the house/in pockets/down the sofa/hand bags for change. A bag of pasta tubes from asda is only 29p to go with the sauce.
Bread buns are 85p for 6 so you can have chicken burgers and baking potatoes are 98p for 4.
Not sure what Mash tags are but would they go with fish fingers & peas???

Not sure if you live near an asda but I'm pretty sure most supermarkets are the same apart from Waitrose Smile

What bank are you with out of interest?

Shouldn't take that long to cancel a card.

Of course you're annoyed, that's a hell of a lot of money to lose.

What a scumbag eh?
