Hi All,

Where, in your opinion, can the best priced schoolwear be found?

I've tried M&S, Tesco and Sainsbury but i have found Asda stuff has never failed us, stuff that was bought last summer is still going strong and looking fine now.

I have found sainsburys polo shirts to last better than the ones from Marks.

ASDA for generics (though there really isn't that much difference between th supermarket brands).

School second hand sale for logo items.

Asda. I have tried others but Asda never fails. I have a boy and a girl and both uniforms are Asda.

Thank you, Asda does seem really well priced so I was concerned about the quality, but thanks for the comments assuring me otherwise.

Next for slim trousers for my skinny ds
Supermarket polo shirts, socks
School for logo items (he doesn't grow fast so I don't begrudge paying full price)
Jack nano clarks shoes (for the toy in the sole lol)

I have found a quite a few items of school uniform in very good condition at a charity shop near to the school - I have even picked up a couple of items with the school's logo on (eg fleece for £2.50, would be £10 in uniform shop)

Polo shirts - sainsburys
Older boys Trousers - John Lewis
Younger boys trousers and Shorts - next
Coats - next puffer jackets - easy to wash, look nice and are warm.
Socks and pants - sainsburys
Logo stuff - school
M&S stuff is very poor IMO.

For super skinny girls I've found some slim style trousers that they do in short, regular, long and extra longs with adjustable waist. The age 9-10 extra long fit my 5'3" 11 year old fine Smile qualilty has been good too.

Other than that I'd get as cheap as possible as it gets spoiled or grown out of very quickly.

Def Sainsburys for polo shirts. Much softer than asda/tesco and don't shrink.
