Creative Writing Competitions - 12 years old

My dd loves writing and always has an idea for a new book or story brewing. She is having a tough time at school at the moment and really down in the dumps. I thought entering a writing completion might take her mind off things a bit. I have had a look online and can't really see much that is up to date. Does anyone know of competitions or online resources for young writers? TIA!

I did this with DD when she was 9 and having a hard time...she actually won a prize in a competition which did wonders for her.
