Minister for Justice Helen McEntee is due her first child in May 2021. Apparently she's the first cabinet minister to announce a pregnancy while in office. I was surprised to read that TDs aren't entitled to paid maternity leave - apparently TDs need a sick cert. to take time off when having a baby. I hope they rectify this a.s.a.p.
I'm sure they will. After all she is the Minister for Justice Happy news for her and her dh.. It's been quite stressful for her in the last few weeks with the Seamus Woulfe debacle. I thought all judicial appointments in the State were political
