Local Supports/Volunteering Covid

I've had a little look online to see if anyone is organising local groups to support each other during the coming weeks.
I see that the GAA are mobilising their clubs to support in rural areas. There's a group in Meath collecting food for a food bank.
A fundraiser to deliver food to hospital staff.

I'm the only member of my family living in this town & daren't go to visit parents at the moment. Am fit and healthy thank god, so if I can support anyone local to me, I'd be happy to do so.
As I'm sure would many others.

Has anyone come across locally based groups that are mobilising to organise and help each other?

There are lots around the country @DuchessDumbarton . They’re mainly active on twitter under #selfisolationhelp, or look at Self Isolation Help Website

Thanks ILik (what's with the username??)

I suspect that most of the country is at the phony war stage at the moment....waiting for the worst to happen. (with thoughts for the 2 families who have already lost someone).

So not many requests for help on there

The Human Milk for Human Babies Ireland and Northern Ireland Facebook page is linking up people who have spare breastmilk with babies who can't get formula so if you know anyone who is struggling to feed their little one, there's help.

Do you have a local Facebook page or a website? I’ve volunteered to help on ours so I will be allocated what to do. I also think we should set up a support group on here to help us through this with ideas on things to do when we all get fed up etc.
